Shilpi Hill Resort - Saputara

We run things from our office in Naranpura, over at Mandar Apartment, unit A-1/302. We are situated right behind St. Xavier’s School, so it's a familiar spot for many folks in this part of Ahmedabad. Even though the resort itself is up in the hills of Saputara, this is where we handle all the bookings and the planning. It’s a quiet little office most of the time. We spend our days answering questions about room rates, checking the calendar for availability, and making sure the staff up at the resort know who is coming. It’s a lot of coordination between the city and the hills. We have pictures of the resort on the walls to remind us of the cooler weather up there, especially when it’s boiling hot here in Ahmedabad. The office is pretty basic with just the essentials—some computers, a couple of phones, and a place for guests to sit if they drop by in person. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us making sure that when people go for their holiday, everything is ready for them. Sometimes the internet is slow or the phones act up, but we get by. We’ve been in this building for a long time and the neighborhood is pretty calm. It’s a steady job and we try to be as helpful as we can without being pushy about it. We just want to make sure the bookings are correct before people head out.
