Shayona Dresses

People usually find us on the first floor of the Shivsagar Complex. It is right there near the Sardar Patel Statue in Naranpura. We spend most of our mornings just getting things ready and cleaning up the dust from the road outside. The stairs can be a bit steep if you are carrying heavy bags, but we are used to it by now. It is a busy part of Naranpura, so there is always noise from the scooters and cars downstairs. We don't have a big fancy office or anything. It is just a work space with racks of dresses and some chairs for when friends or customers stop by to talk. Sometimes the fan makes a clicking sound that drives us crazy, but it keeps the air moving. We have been in this complex for a while. You can see the statue from the window if you lean out a little bit. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front of the building quite hard, so we usually keep the curtains half-drawn. It’s a plain place, nothing too special to look at, but it’s where we do our business every day. Most of the day is spent checking the stock or talking to the people who deliver our items. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the shop stays organized, even though it gets messy pretty fast when we are busy with a lot of people coming in.
