Shah Alloys Ltd.

If you head out toward Science City in Ahmedabad, you will find us in the Bhadaj area. Shah Alloys Ltd. is situated at Patel Madhwas. It is a bit further out than some of the other city offices, which means it is a little less crowded. The area around Science City has really developed, but Bhadaj still has a bit of that local village feel to it. Our office is a practical place where we handle the day-to-day operations. There is usually a lot of talk about the trucks and the loads they are carrying. We don't have a lot of corporate rules; we just expect everyone to do their part. It is a dusty job sometimes, being near the outskirts and dealing with industrial materials, but we are used to it. We keep a pot of tea going most of the day. The staff here has been with us for years, so we all know how the others work. We don't put much stock in fancy titles or big meetings. We just sit around the table and figure out the logistics for the week. It is a very direct way of working. Most of our neighbors are either local families or other small businesses. We feel like part of the community here. It is just a regular workplace where people work hard and go home. No frills, just Shah Alloys Ltd. doing its thing in the neighborhood.
