Tatya Furniture & Interiors

Tatya Furniture & Interiors is located at Shop No. 3 in the Krishna Complex. We’re right on Bhudarpura Road in Ambawadi, directly across from Ashwamagh Elegance. It’s a decent-sized shop, but it’s usually pretty full of wood samples, fabric swatches, and half-finished pieces of furniture. We do a mix of things here, from helping people pick out a new cupboard to figuring out how to fit a desk into a tight corner. It’s a lot of measuring and drawing things out on paper. We don't have a big polished showroom with bright lights. Instead, you'll see where we actually do the work. There's usually some sawdust on the floor and the smell of varnish in the air. We’ve been in this part of Ambawadi for a while and we know a lot of the neighbors. People often just pop in to ask a quick question about a chair or a table they have at home. We don't really do the hard sell. We just show people what we have and tell them what we can do. Some projects take a few days, others take a few weeks, depending on what’s needed. We just work through the orders as they come in. It's a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just how it goes when you’re making things by hand. We just enjoy the work and stay busy in the shop.
