Sarovar Hotels & Resort Pvt. Ltd. has its office at 31/A in Saurastra Society. This is in the Ambawadi part of Ellicebridge, right here in Ahmedabad. It’s an older residential society, so our office is actually a converted house. We manage a lot of the back-end stuff for the hotels from this spot. It’s not a hotel itself, so don't come here looking for a room to stay in. We spend our time on the phone or on the computer, making sure the different properties have what they need. Ambawadi is a nice area, though the traffic near Ellicebridge can be a nightmare during the morning rush. The office is a bit cluttered with paperwork and old ledgers. We have a small kitchen where we make tea several times a day. It’s a quiet place for the most part, except when we are arguing about a supply order or a booking mistake. We’ve been here for quite a while, and we like the local feel of the neighborhood. It’s not a shiny glass building in a business park. It’s just a regular place where we come to work every day. Sometimes the ceiling leaks a bit when it rains hard, but we just put a bucket under it and keep going. We aren't trying to impress anyone with our office. We just want to get the job done and keep the hotels running smoothly.
