Adi Fine Chem Limited

Out here at No. 253/ P on the Sanand-Kadi Highway, Adi Fine Chem Limited is right in the heart of the industrial belt. The highway is always packed with long-haul trucks and the air is thick with the smell of diesel and dust. It’s a dry part of Taluka Sanand, so the heat can be quite intense during the middle of the day. Our facility is a bit of a walk from the main gate. It’s a big, practical site where we process chemicals. We have a lot of pipes and tanks that need constant watching. It’s not a desk job for most of us. We spend our time walking the floor and checking the gauges. The noise of the highway is always there in the background, like a constant hum. We have a small canteen where we all sit together for lunch. The food is simple but it keeps us going. Most of us travel quite a distance to get here, so the workday feels long. We wear uniforms that get stained pretty quickly, but that’s just how it is in this line of work. There isn’t anything glamorous about it. We just make sure the batches are right and the safety rules are followed. It’s a serious job because of the chemicals, but we still find time to joke around. It’s just a bunch of regular people working hard in a tough environment.
