Sainath Physiotherapy Clinic

We are tucked away in Shop No B-1/1 in Shanti Apartment, right here in Shastrinagar-Naranpura. It’s a small space, but we make it work for everything we do at Sainath Physiotherapy Clinic. The Subh Reading Library is just nearby, so it’s usually pretty quiet around this corner. I spend my days helping people do their exercises. We have a few mats on the floor and some machines that hum when they are turned on. The smell of the clinic is mostly just laundry detergent from the towels we use. It’s not a big corporate office, just a local shop where people from the apartments come when their backs or knees hurt. I’ve known some of these neighbors for years now. We talk about the weather or the local news while they do their stretches. The light in Naranpura is nice in the morning before it gets too hot. I have a small desk where I keep the schedule, but I’m rarely sitting there. I’m usually moving around, showing someone how to lift their arm or adjust their posture. The walls are a plain off-white color and the floor is easy to clean. It’s a simple life here. Sometimes we hear the kids playing outside in the afternoon. When the day is done, I just fold the towels, turn off the lights, and walk home. It feels like a useful way to spend the time.
