Sagar Medical & Provision Store

You can find us over at Shop No 10 in the Vishal Estate, right along Ctm Road in Amraiwadi. It’s a lively part of town to have a shop. We call ourselves Sagar Medical and Provision Store because we handle a bit of everything. Besides the medicine counters, we have shelves with daily essentials like soap, toothpaste, and sometimes snacks. It’s the kind of place where a mother might come in for her child’s fever medicine and leave with a packet of detergent too. The Vishal Estate stays pretty busy with all the different businesses around us. The pavement outside is usually crowded with parked bikes. Inside the shop, it’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when the delivery crates arrive. We spend a lot of our morning unpacking boxes and checking off items on long paper lists. Amraiwadi is a place where people look out for each other, and we feel like a part of that. We’ve got a couple of old chairs behind the counter for when our legs get tired, but we don't use them much. The fans keep the air moving, which is good because Ctm Road can get very hot in the summer. We don't have any big corporate rules, we just run the shop the way it makes sense to us. It’s a lot of work, but we like being right here in the middle of things.
