Our workshop is at 58 Pushpak Industrial Estate, inside the Nika Tube Compound in G.I.D.C. Phase -1, Vatva. It’s a busy part of the city for manufacturing and we fit right in. We build and repair different kinds of machinery here. The space is usually filled with the smell of metal and grease. We have a decent-sized floor where we keep the larger machines we’re working on. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s a working shop, so that’s expected. We’ve got a team of technicians who have been doing this for a long time. They don't need much direction; they just see what needs to be fixed and get to it. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most of our work comes from other businesses in the G.I.D.C. who know we can handle the repairs they need. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for parts to arrive, which can be frustrating, but we try to stay busy with other tasks while we wait. The compound is always full of activity, with people moving crates and trucks backing in and out. It’s a noisy, busy place but it suits us just fine. We just focus on the task at hand and making sure the machines we send back out are working properly. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our toes every day of the week.
