Rishitex

Rishitex is based out of B-8 in the Yashpal Apartments, right at the Vijay Cross Road in Navrangpura. Being at a major crossroad means there is always something happening outside our windows. It is a lively part of town. We work with textiles, hence the name, and our space is often filled with fabric samples and stacks of order forms. It’s not a showroom, just our office where the real work happens. Navrangpura is a good place to be because everything is accessible, but the noise from the intersection can be a lot sometimes. We are a small group of people just trying to make a living in the textile trade. We don't have a corporate board or a fancy reception area. You just walk in and see us working. Most of our days are spent on the phone or looking at swatches to make sure the quality is what it needs to be. We have been in Yashpal Apartments for a long time, so we are a fixture of the building. It’s a bit cramped with all the fabric around, but we find our way through the stacks. We focus on the daily tasks and getting the orders out to our clients. It is simple, practical work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. When things get busy, the whole office is covered in samples and bits of thread, but that is just life here for us.
