Renjo Jeans

Renjo Jeans is down at G. F. 11 in the Laxmi Vishnu Market. If you know Gheekanta Road you know it is always packed with people and carts moving around. Our shop is on the ground floor which makes it easier to move boxes in and out. It’s a tight space with jeans stacked all the way to the ceiling in some corners. We spend a lot of time just sorting through sizes and making sure the stock is right. The market opens early and by ten o’clock it is already humming. We have a small tea stall nearby where we get our chai every morning. That is basically our routine. We don’t have a big staff just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. The lighting isn't great inside but we know where everything is kept. Customers come in looking for specific fits and we do what we can to find them in the piles. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in so we have to wipe things down often. It’s a busy life here in the market. We don’t really have time for fancy displays or anything like that. Just lots of denim and hard work. Being in Laxmi Vishnu Market means you see all sorts of people every day. It’s noisy and crowded but it’s where we do our business and it works for us. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next delivery.
