Our place is S/140 over in Vivekananda Estate. It’s right on the road that used to lead to the old Grampanchayat office in Rakhiyal. Rb Fashion has been operating out of this unit for some time now. Navagadh is a busy area, and being near Jupiter helps people locate the estate. It's a practical space, nothing too special to look at, but it gets the job done for us. We spend the whole day here working through orders. The estate can get quite noisy with all the other businesses around, but we’re used to it. Sometimes the mail gets confused because of the old office road name, but we’ve stayed put. It's a lot of manual work and keeping things organized in a small space. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. Just the work floor and the equipment we need. Most days it’s just about getting the piles of fabric moved and the machines running. Rakhiyal is where most of the textile stuff happens, so it makes sense for us to be here. We’ve gotten to know the other shop owners in Vivekananda Estate over the years. It’s a tight-knit spot despite the dust and the trucks moving in and out all day. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s not always glamorous, but it’s our daily reality here in the estate.
