Getting up to the second floor of Ratnamani Complex can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up that day. We are at number 238. The Gheekanta area is always packed especially near Nagar Sheth's Vando. You can hear all the noise from the street even from up here on the second floor. We have a lot of boxes stacked around because surgical items take up quite a bit of room. It is not the biggest space but we make it work. Most of us have been here a long time. We know the neighbors in the other units well. Sometimes we share tea in the afternoons when things finally slow down. The lighting in the hallway isn't the best but once you step inside our place it is bright enough to see what is on the shelves. We deal with hospitals and clinics mostly. They send people over or call us up to see what we have in stock. It gets very busy during the middle of the week. We do not really have a fancy showroom. It is more of a working office where we keep track of everything. The complex itself is old but everyone in the area knows where it is. Finding a parking spot near the Vando is the hardest part of the day. Once you are inside it is just a matter of finding the right box in the stacks. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long.
