Prakash Chemicals Polymers is tucked away near Vishvnath Nagar Ni Chal. We are behind Ajit Mille in the Rakhial area. Rakhial is a very busy, crowded part of the city with a lot of old industrial units. It can be a bit hard to find if you aren't familiar with the small lanes behind Ajit Mille. We have been in this location for many years. The building is old and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for what we need. We handle a lot of different materials every day. It’s not the cleanest job, and the smell of chemicals is something you just get used to after a while. We don't have a big corporate structure here. It is just the owner and a handful of workers who know the process. We spend a lot of time checking the batches and making sure things are moving along. Sometimes the equipment breaks down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it ourselves. There’s no fancy lunchroom; we just eat together in the main area. It's a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We don't try to sound like a big global company. We are just a small unit in Rakhial doing our part. Most of our neighbors are also doing similar work, so there's a good sense of community around here. We just keep working.
