R G Melamine

Our place is out in Naroda, at 9/10 Amarnath Estate on the Naroda Dehgam Road. It’s an industrial estate, so there are a lot of warehouses around. We work with melamine products, mostly dishes and trays. The estate is quite large, and it can be hard to find us if you don't know the unit number. We spend a lot of time in the warehouse area checking the stock. Melamine is tough stuff, but you still have to be careful with how it's stored. We aren't a big fancy brand. We just supply these items to shops and traders who need them. The office part of the building is pretty small and usually has some samples lying around on the desks. We’ve been here for several years now. The road outside gets very busy with trucks, especially in the afternoons. We handle the shipping and the packing ourselves most of the time. It gets hot in the summer because the roof is tin, but we have some big fans that help. We don't do much marketing. People mostly find us through word of mouth in the trade. We just want to make sure the boxes are full and the orders are correct. It’s a simple business. We focus on the daily tasks and keeping the inventory moving. We aren't here to impress anyone with a showroom. We just make sure the goods are ready when they are supposed to be. It's dusty, but it's home.
