Ankita Garments

Ankita Garments is at Shop No. 16 in Purshottam Market. We are very close to Dimple Hotel near the Panch Kuwa Darwaja. It’s an old part of town and it feels like it. The market is always loud with people shouting and carts moving back and forth. Our shop is small but it is packed with stuff. We try to keep it organized but it's hard when new shipments come in every few days. The Dimple Hotel is the best way to find us since everyone knows it. We spend most of our day here from ten in the morning until late. The tea man comes by twice a day and that’s when we take a break. It's a simple life. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's just shelves and racks and a small counter where we talk to people. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we’ve got plastic sheets for that. We’ve known the other shopkeepers in Purshottam Market for a long time. It feels like a small village inside the city. We just do our business and go home to our families. There isn't much more to it than that. We just focus on the clothes and the customers who walk through the door. Usually, someone is sitting out front on a stool, just watching the world go by until a customer stops.
