We operate out of No. 9 in the Kaajal Estate. If you’re driving down Pirana Road in Piplaj, you have to look for the masjid because we’re tucked right behind it. It's a typical industrial spot. Psm Apparels isn't a huge name, just a small team of us working on garments. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more worried about the stitching and getting the sizing right. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have the fans going. We usually have piles of fabric sitting around waiting to be cut. There’s always someone coming in or out with a delivery. It's not the quietest place to work with all the noise from the other units in the estate, but we’re used to it. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the day. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is close, and the walk out to the main road is pretty quiet then. We don't really do much advertising. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they saw our sign near the masjid. We just try to keep the machines running and the work decent enough for the price. It's a simple living for us here in Piplaj. Every day is pretty much the same routine and we just handle whatever work comes our way. We’re just regular people trying to do a job properly without any fuss.
