Printech has been operating out of 50, Resham Pujari'S Chawl on Gomtipur Road for a long time. It’s a traditional kind of spot, not one of those new glass-fronted offices. We’re right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Gomtipur. The space is a bit tight, but we’ve arranged the printers to make the most of it. There is always a lot of activity on the road outside. We do general printing work for the people and small businesses around here. It’s a lot of manual work, moving paper and checking ink levels. We don’t have a fancy reception area. You just walk in and you’re right there where the work happens. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes the paper curl, but we've figured out how to deal with that. We don't use any corporate talk or big mission statements. We are just here to provide a service that people need. It’s a simple life. We know most of the neighbors and they know us. If you need something printed on Gomtipur Road, you just look for the chawl. We’ve been here through all kinds of weather and changes in the city. It’s home for us and our business. We just keep the presses running as best as we can every day. Most of our work comes from local folks who know we are always at number 50.
