Jainam Electronics

You can find Jainam Electronics at Door No. 7 in the Poonam Flate building. We are right across the street from the Shankeshwar Jain Temple here in Ramnagar. Sabarmati is a nice area to work in, though it gets a bit crowded during the temple festivals. Our shop is on the ground floor of the flats. It’s basically a small room packed with different electronic bits and pieces. We started out small and just stayed that way. Most people from the neighborhood know us because we’ve been here for many years. We handle repairs and sell some basic electrical items that people need for their homes like bulbs or wires. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have a lot of old parts kept in boxes just in case someone needs a rare piece. The light isn't great, but we have a good lamp at the main desk. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to chat for a minute while we work on a radio or a circuit board. It’s a simple life. We open the shutters in the morning and close them when it gets dark. There’s no big staff here, just us doing the work ourselves. If you are walking toward the temple, you can't miss the Poonam Flate entrance. We don't have a huge display window, but people know where to find us when something breaks at home. It’s a quiet, steady kind of business.
