Chandrika Printery

Our shop is located right across from the Mirzapur Court. Being on Mirzapur Road means it's always crowded and there's a lot of traffic. Chandrika Printery has been in this spot for quite some time. We handle all sorts of printing jobs that people bring in. Often it’s just legal papers because of the court being right there. The machines can be quite loud when they're all running at once. We don't really have a front desk or a receptionist. You just come in and find one of us near the printers. It’s a practical space. Dust from the road gets in sometimes, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment. We don’t really do fancy advertising. Most customers are just locals or people having business at the court. Sometimes things get backed up when a machine breaks down, which happens more than we'd like. It’s just how it goes here. We have stacks of paper everywhere. We usually have tea together in the afternoon while the machines are humming. It's a plain life but it keeps us busy. We try to keep the prices fair for everyone. If you're looking for us, look for the sign opposite the court entrance. It’s not hard to find. We’re usually there from morning till the sun goes down. Sometimes we stay late if a big job comes in at the last minute and someone really needs it done.
