Prasad Kardam Orchestra Band

Our band has been based out of Harsiddh Krupa Society in Naranpura for quite some time now. We're tucked away right behind D K Patel Hall, which is a spot most locals in Ahmedabad know well. Prasad Kardam Orchestra Band isn't just a business for us; it’s what we do for a living every single week. We spend a lot of our time practicing in our space at house number 38, making sure the instruments are tuned and everyone knows their parts. It’s not always glamorous. There’s a lot of lugging heavy speakers and cables around to different venues. We’ve played at all sorts of events, from small family get-togethers to larger celebrations. Sometimes the weather is too hot or the stage is too small, but we always make it work somehow. We don't use a lot of fancy recording equipment or anything like that. It's mostly just us and our instruments, playing music that people want to hear. When someone hires us, they're getting a group of people who genuinely enjoy playing together. We've had members come and go over the years, but the core of what we do stays the same. Ahmedabad has a lot of music lovers, and we’re just glad to be a part of that community. We don't promise to be the world's greatest, but we show up on time and we play our hearts out.
