Hiradevi Agri Katta

Hiradevi Agri Katta is at Plot No.108, right by Dastan Circle in Nava Naroda. We are quite close to Aditya International School, so we see the school buses going back and forth all day long. This place is mainly for the farming community around here. We have seeds, tools, and stuff people need for their land. It isn't a polished retail store. It’s more of a place where things are stacked up on pallets and the floor is a bit dusty from the sacks of grain. The air usually smells like earth or fertilizer. Farmers come in early, often before the sun is fully up, to get what they need before heading out to the fields. We sit on plastic chairs and talk about the weather or how the crops are doing. It’s a very straightforward way of living. Nava Naroda has changed a lot, but the circle is still a busy landmark for everyone. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. The word just gets around from one farmer to another. If the rain is late, things get a bit quiet and we just wait it out. When the season is right, the place is packed with bags and people. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with bags piled high, but we know where everything is. It’s just how we run things here at the katta. We keep it basic because that's what our visitors expect when they come in.
