Pradeep Chemicals

Our business, Pradeep Chemicals, is located at 151, Gulalwadi, on Kika Street. It’s an old part of the city and the streets are narrow, so getting supplies in and out can be a real chore sometimes. We deal with different kinds of chemicals for various uses. It is a very practical sort of business. We spend our time measuring things out, checking containers, and making sure the labels are right. It’s not the kind of work where you wear a suit. We are usually in old clothes that we don't mind getting a bit dirty. The building has been here forever and it has that old smell of industrial stuff and age. We aren't a giant factory, just a local supplier for people who need specific things for their own shops or small projects. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming to Kika Street for years. We know most of them by name. We don't really do much advertising because word of mouth seems to work well enough for us. Some days are just filled with stacking barrels and writing out invoices by hand. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it is how we have always done it. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get home on time. It is a steady living and we know our way around the barrels.
