Poonam Palace Hotel

The hotel is located in the Poonam Building, right behind the City Gold Theatre on Ashram Road in Ahmedabad. This is a busy section of town because of the theater and the shops. Our place is practical for anyone who needs to stay in this part of the city for a few days. We don't have a grand entrance or staff in formal uniforms. It is a simple building with basic rooms for travelers. We focus on keeping everything tidy and making sure the beds are okay for a night's rest. Ashram Road is always noisy with cars, but the rooms stay fairly calm. A lot of our guests are here for work or quick visits. Being an older building, the elevator can be a little slow sometimes, but it gets the job done. There is no big restaurant inside the hotel, just a place to sleep and wash up. Most of our staff live nearby and they know all the local spots. If you need to find a place to eat or a specific shop, just ask and we can point you in the right direction.
