Plus Biomedical

You can find Plus Biomedical at number 7 in the Radhika Industrial Park. We are tucked right behind the Abhishree Estate, not far from the S.P. Ring Road in Singarwa. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, especially with the traffic on the ring road these days, but it’s a good spot for what we do. The space is mostly filled with large crates and equipment that we move around with a hand trolley. It’s not a retail shop where people wander in off the street; it’s more of a hub for getting biomedical supplies out to where they’re needed. The office part is just a couple of desks and a computer that’s a bit slow in the mornings. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking emails to make sure orders are correct. Singarwa can get pretty dusty with all the construction going on nearby, so we spend a fair bit of time cleaning the equipment cases. There’s a small tea stall just down the road where we go when things get too hectic. We aren’t interested in being a big corporate office. We just keep our heads down and handle the logistics. The paperwork is never-ending, and sometimes the labels get mixed up, but we sort it out eventually. It's a straightforward operation. We lock up the shutters every evening and head back onto the main road, ready to do it again the next day.
