R. K. Synthesis Ltd.

R. K. Synthesis Ltd. is situated over in Phase-4 of the GIDC in Vatva. Our address is a bit of a mouthful—Plot No. 3411/1-2 and 3412/4+5—which basically means we took over a few adjacent spots to fit everything in. Vatva is a crowded place, and Phase-4 is no exception. There’s always a tractor or a truck blocking the narrow roads, so getting here in the morning can be a bit of a challenge. Our work involves synthesis, which is a lot of precise measuring and mixing. It’s not like a construction site; it’s more controlled, though it still gets messy at times. The facility is a mix of old brick and newer metal sheets. We have rows of shelves filled with glass jars and plastic tubs of different materials. The guys on the floor wear their overalls and spend hours watching the stirrers go around. We don’t have much in the way of decorations. There might be a dusty calendar on the wall and a few chairs that have seen better days. We take pride in just doing the job consistently. When a batch is finished, we load it up and wait for the transport to arrive. It’s the same routine day in and day out, but it keeps us busy and the lights on. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a batch that’s taking its time, but that’s just the nature of the work.
