Shree Ram Chemicals at Plot 411/4. We've been at Vatva GIDC Phase-2 for a while. The chemical smell is something you just get used to after a few days. We start early, usually around 8 or 9, getting the containers ready. Most days it’s just busywork, checking batches and making sure the drums are sealed right. Our space isn't huge, but we make it work. The trucks coming in and out of the lane can be a bit of a headache during lunch. There's a small tea stall just around the corner where everyone goes to take a break from the heat. It gets quite hot here in the afternoons, especially during the summer months. We don't have fancy office chairs or air conditioning in the main shed. It’s just us doing what needs to be done. Sometimes we stay late if a shipment is delayed. The floor stays stained from the different mixtures we handle. It's not a pretty job, but it pays the bills and keeps the family going. We know most of the guys at the neighboring plots. We share tools sometimes or help move heavy stuff if someone's short-handed. It’s just how things are around here in Vatva. Nothing too special, just regular work. We don't try to impress anyone with big talk. We just focus on the drums and the deliveries. Every day is pretty much like the one before it, but we don't mind the routine much. It keeps us busy and out of trouble.
