Oba Speciality Chemicals

Down in Phase-2 of the GIDC in Vatva, you will find Oba Speciality Chemicals at Plot No. 61 - 62. Combining two plots gave us a bit more room to breathe, which is good because specialty chemicals can take up a lot of space with all the different ingredients and equipment needed. Vatva is a very crowded industrial area, so there is always traffic and noise from the neighbors. We have been here for a while, and our gates are usually open early in the morning to let the staff in. It is not a glamorous job. There is a lot of measuring, pouring, and checking temperatures. We do not spend money on fancy signs or polished brochures. Most of our day is spent making sure the batches come out okay and that the containers are labeled correctly. The office is just a small room with some old files and a computer that has seen better days. When it gets busy, everyone helps out with the loading and unloading of the trucks. It is a bit of a grind, especially during the monsoon when the roads in Phase-2 get flooded, but we keep the operations going as best as we can. We are just regular people working in Vatva, trying to do a decent job at Plot 61 and 62 without making a big fuss about it. We stay busy and let the work speak for itself.
