Kailash Chemicals

Kailash Chemicals is tucked away at Plot No. 182 in Phase-2 of the GIDC in Vatva. If you know this area, you know it is a maze of factories and small shops. We have been operating from this same building for quite some time now. Inside, it is mostly just rows of containers and the sound of the ventilation fans running. Working with chemicals means we have to be careful, so we spend a lot of time on safety checks and double-checking the valves. It is not the kind of job where you can rush through things without looking. The air in Vatva is always thick with the sound of industry, and we are just one small part of that. Our day starts with a list of what needs to be mixed or packed for the day. It is steady work. Most of the workers live nearby and walk or bike in every morning. We know the neighbors at the other plots, and we help each other out if someone needs a tool or a bit of help moving something heavy. The office is small and usually has a stack of invoices waiting to be signed by the manager. We do not do much in the way of advertising because word of mouth keeps us busy enough. It gets dusty, and the floors need constant cleaning, but that is just how it is in Phase-2. We focus on getting the orders out and making sure everything is correct.
