Chemclone Industries

Our place, Chemclone Industries, sits right on Plot No. C-1/345 and C-1/344 here in the Vatva GIDC. It’s a combined space, which gives us a bit more room to move around than some of the neighbors. We’ve been set up in Phase-2 for years now. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a magazine. It’s just a workspace with metal sheds and concrete floors. Most of our day is spent watching over the chemical processes. We keep a close eye on the gauges and the temperatures because that’s what the job requires. It can get pretty noisy when all the pumps are running at once. We’ve got a small group of guys who have been here since the start. We drink our tea together in the break area and talk about the news or the local cricket scores. There’s no big corporate ladder here. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves or call the guy down the street who knows how to weld. The office is small and usually stacked with ledgers and delivery notes. We don’t really bother with social media or big websites. People know where to find us if they need chemicals. We just open up in the morning, do the work that needs doing, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid.
