Chemet Chemicals Ltd.

Our place is at Plot No. 82/1, 83/8 in Phase-1 of the GIDC in Vatva. It’s a big enough spot for what we do. We deal with chemicals, so we have to be careful about how things are stored and moved. The floor is concrete and has seen a lot of wear over the years. We started small and just kept going. There’s no secret to it. We just show up and do the work. The office is tucked away in the corner, away from the noise of the mixers. We have a small group of workers who have been with us since the beginning. We eat lunch together most days. It’s a hot environment, especially in the middle of the day, but we have fans going. The trucks wait in line outside the gate on busy mornings. We try to get them loaded quickly so they can get on their way. Vatva is a crowded place with lots of other businesses around us. You can hear the sounds of the industrial estate all day long. We don’t have any fancy brochures. If someone wants to know what we do, they usually just call or stop by. We keep things pretty simple here. It’s just a regular chemical plant. Nothing more, nothing less. We keep a logbook for all the visitors and the deliveries. It’s a basic system that works for us. We just try to stay busy.
