Payal Medicals Provision Stores

Our store is on the ground floor of the Anilkunj building, shop number 8. The building is called Parul, located in the Paldi area of Ahmedabad. We’ve been operating out of this same spot for quite a while. Paldi is a central part of the city, so it’s easy for people to find us. We sell medicines and all kinds of daily provisions. It’s a ground-floor shop, which makes it easy for elderly people to walk in without having to worry about stairs. We have a regular routine here. We arrive, get the lights on, and start organizing the stock. The shelves are usually quite full because we like to have what people need on hand. It’s not a very big shop, but we make the most of the space we have. You can see the street life from our front door. There are always rickshaws and people going about their business in Paldi. We know many of our customers by sight because they have been coming to us for years. It’s a friendly enough atmosphere. We don't use any complicated systems, just pen and paper and our own memory mostly. Sometimes the weather makes the shop a bit dusty, but we try to keep things clean. It's just a regular neighborhood store where we do our best to help the locals with their supplies. We’ve lived and worked in this area long enough to feel like we belong.
