Patelchhotelalazad

Our place, Patelchhotelalazad, is tucked away in the Matrubhakti Society. We are in units 212 and 213. If you are coming from the C.T.M Char Rasta, we are right near the Reva Bhai Estate. Amaraivadi is a very busy part of Ahmedabad, and the traffic near the estate can be a real headache in the mornings. We have been here for years now. The office is basically just two rooms filled with papers and a couple of old desks. We do most of our work right here in the society. It’s a mix of residential and small businesses, so there is always something going on outside. The 380026 area code is home for us. We know the tea seller around the corner and the other shop owners nearby. We don't have any big mission statements. We just show up every morning and get through the list of things that need to be done. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for an hour or two, so we just sit outside and wait. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We have some basic equipment and we keep things moving as best as we can. Gujarat summers are tough in this building because the roof gets very hot. But we have a couple of good fans that keep the air moving. We’ve lived and worked in Ahmedabad long enough to know how to handle the heat and the crowds. It's just a regular local business.
