The Patel Store Building is right there in Azad Chowk, and that is where we are. We’ve been in this building in Amraiwadi for quite some time, and it has become a bit of a landmark for the local people. We are near Chokshi Ni Chali, so there is always a lot of movement around the shop. Amraiwadi is a busy area, and Azad Chowk is usually the center of all the noise and activity. At Patel Stores And Medical, we provide a bit of everything, from medicines to general household items. The shop has that lived-in feel, with shelves that have seen many years of service. We don't go for anything modern or flashy; it’s all about being practical for our customers. People stop by on their way to work or while they are out running errands in the chowk. We see the same faces day after day, which is the best part of being a local shop owner. The fans hum on the ceiling and we keep the ledger books on the desk to keep track of things. Sometimes the street performers or vendors outside make a lot of noise, but that’s just life at the chowk. We just keep our heads down and make sure we have the stock people need.
