Parmanand & Sons is located in Kalupur Lat, specifically at office number 370/7. We are very close to the railway station, so you can always hear the trains pulling in and the announcements if the wind is blowing the right way. It’s a very busy part of town with a lot of people moving through at all hours. Our office is small and filled with old ledgers, books, and papers. We’ve been here for a long time, and we like the location despite the noise and the crowds. It feels like we are right in the heart of the city's trade. We don't have modern furniture or a big staff of employees. It's mostly just family and a few helpers who have been with us for many years. We handle our business the old-fashioned way, mostly face-to-face or over the telephone. There isn't any corporate polish here; the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to get to it. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the people who drop by for a chat or for business. Being near the station means we get visitors from all over the place. We just do our work day by day and don't worry too much about fancy trends. It’s a simple, honest business and we plan on staying in this Kalupur Lat spot for a long time. It’s home to us and we know everyone in the building. It’s a good life.
