You can find Parikh Medical Stores at Shop No 59/1 Gandhi Road Ahmedabad. This is one of the busiest parts of the city, and being here means there is never a dull moment. The noise from the traffic and the crowds outside is just part of the background for us now. The shop itself is quite old, and it has that specific smell of medicines and paper that old pharmacies have. We focus mostly on the medical side of things, but we have some provision items too. Because we are on Gandhi Road, we get a lot of people who are just passing through, but we also have our regulars who have been coming to us for decades. The space is small, so we have to be very careful about where we put everything. Sometimes it takes a minute to find a specific item in the back, but we usually know exactly which drawer it’s in. We don't have any air conditioning, just a few old fans that hum all day long. It gets very hot in the summer months, but we are used to it by now. We don't bother with much decoration or fancy lights inside the shop. The focus is just on the stock and the customers standing at the counter. It is a humble place, and we are fine with that. We just keep showing up every morning to serve the people.
