Paper Bag House

We are over at 3-B, K.K. Tagore Street. Paper Bag House is exactly what it sounds like. We make and sell paper bags. The shop is usually full of stacks of brown and white paper from the floor to the ceiling. It smells like glue and fresh paper most of the time, which is something you get used to pretty quickly after a few days. It is an old street, and we have been here for quite some time now. Neighbors know us as the place where you can get bags of all sizes for your shop or home. We do not have a fancy storefront. It is mostly just a workspace with a wooden counter in the front for people who walk in. We spend a lot of time folding, gluing, and counting. It is manual work for the most part. My family has been involved in this for a while. We are not trying to be the biggest bag supplier in the country; we just want to make sure the local shops have what they need to wrap up their goods. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to do things by hand, but that is just how it goes. It is a quiet life, mostly. We open early, we work through the pile of orders, and we close up when the sun goes down. There isn't much more to it than that. No big corporate meetings, just paper and glue and bags.
