P Manubhai Medical & Sons is located up on the second floor of the H K Trust Building. We are right at the Ratanpole Corner on Relief Road, which is one of the oldest and busiest parts of Ahmedabad. Being on the second floor means we are a bit removed from the street noise, but we can still hear the hustle and bustle of Relief Road all day long. This building has some history to it, and we’ve been working from this spot for a long time. We handle a variety of medical items and have become a bit of a fixture in this area. The stairs up to the shop can be a bit of a climb, but people still find their way to us. Inside, the shop is packed with shelves that reach all the way to the ceiling. We spend quite a bit of time climbing ladders to get things down for customers. It’s a traditional way of doing business, and we haven't seen a reason to change it much. We know the Ratanpole area inside and out since we spend so much time here. It’s a busy life, managing the stock and dealing with the constant flow of people in the city center. We don't use any fancy systems, just our own way of keeping track of things. It’s a family-oriented business and we just keep at it day after day. It's often dusty but we like it.
