Onkar Bearing Co. is situated at 86 Armenian Street. Some of the older records still show the address as Old No. 75, but it’s the same place. We are right in the heart of a very old and busy trading area. Armenian Street is narrow and always full of people pushing carts and carrying boxes. We specialize in bearings. If you walk into our shop, you’ll see shelves stacked high with all sorts of metal parts. It’s a bit dark inside and smells like grease and old metal, which is exactly how a bearing shop should be. We’ve been here for many years. We don't do much in the way of fancy advertising or social media. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to us for decades. They know we usually have what they need in stock. The street outside is a constant hum of activity from early morning until late evening. It’s a bit chaotic, but there’s a system to it all. We know all the other shopkeepers on the block. It’s a traditional way of doing business. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us who know the inventory inside and out. If someone needs a specific part for a machine, they usually end up at our door eventually. We just keep doing what we’ve always done.
