We are located in the Jammi Building on Royapettah High Road in Mylapore. It is an old part of the city with a lot of history and very narrow streets nearby. Our office is at number 63. We deal with precision products, which involves a lot of technical drawings and talking to the foundry guys. Even though we are in a commercial building, we still have samples of cast parts lying around on the desks. It is a busy road outside and the sound of the traffic is something you just get used to after a week. We have a small group of engineers and clerks who handle the daily operations. The space is a bit cramped because we have so many files and technical manuals stacked up. We do not have any modern glass partitions or fancy decor. It is just an honest workspace where we sit and figure out the casting requirements for the orders we get. Mylapore is a great area for food, so we usually head out to the local stalls for our lunch breaks. The building has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit steep. We spend our time making sure the dimensions are right and that the shipping schedules are being met. It is mostly just us working through the piles of paperwork and making phone calls to the production units to see how the latest batch is coming along.
