Devdip Chemical

Devdip Chemical is located at 22 Bansidhar Estate. We are quite close to the Bhikshukh Gruh in the Odhav area. If you know Odhav, you know it is an industrial zone with a lot of movement. The estate itself is full of different warehouses and small manufacturing units. Our place is one of those. We have barrels and containers stacked up, and there is always that faint smell of chemicals in the air that you get used to after a few days. It is a very hands-on environment. We don't have a reception desk or a waiting room. Usually, people just walk into the main area and find one of us. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure the loading is done correctly. The roads inside the estate are a bit bumpy, especially when the big trucks come through. We use a lot of handwritten ledgers and simple folders to keep track of things. It’s a bit old-fashioned but it works for us. The Bhikshukh Gruh landmark helps people find us because otherwise, all these industrial sheds start looking the same. It can get quite hot in the summer under the corrugated roofs. We just keep the fans going and keep working. It’s a tough, honest way to make a living in this part of town. There is always something new to do every morning when we open up the unit.
