We run our operations out of three plots, L-607, 608, and 609, right on Adinath Road in the GIDC. It's where both Bhavani Clothing and Shalini Apparel are based. Most of the time, the place is full of the sound of sewing machines and people moving stacks of fabric around. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the orders, especially when things get busy during the peak seasons. We’ve got a lot of people working here who have been with us since we first set up on this road. It’s not always quiet, and sometimes the packing area gets a bit cluttered with boxes, but we get through it. We handle a lot of different types of garments. There's usually a pile of thread snippets on the floor by the end of the shift, no matter how much we sweep. The layout is simple because we need the space for the long cutting tables. We don’t have any big corporate reception area, just a desk near the entrance where we sign for deliveries. People know us in the neighborhood because we’ve been here for so long. We focus on the stitching and making sure the sizes are right. It’s honest work, and we’re proud of the clothes that leave this building. It’s just us doing our job every day.
