Aia Engineering Ltd.

You can find us at number 115 in the Gujarat Vepari Mahamandal Estate, which is right off Odhav Road. Odhav is a busy industrial part of town, and we’ve been part of this landscape for a good stretch of time now. Aia Engineering is really just a place where we get down to the business of engineering. It’s a lot of metal, a lot of heat, and a lot of hard work. We aren't interested in looking polished or having a lobby with marble floors. The floor here is concrete and it’s seen better days, but it holds up the heavy machinery just fine. The guys on the floor know what they're doing. They don't need a lot of direction anymore. We just have our lists of what needs to be made and we go at it. Some days are long, especially when we have a big order to finish, but we stay until it’s done. The air is always a bit thick with the smell of oil and iron. It’s just how an engineering shop should be, I think. We have our lunch together out back sometimes when the weather isn't too hot. We talk about the traffic on Odhav Road or how the local teams are doing. It’s a straightforward life. We make things, we fix things, and we try to keep the machines running smooth. That’s what we do at 115. No frills, just steady work and getting the job done.
