Sigma Surgical is based out of the Shree Ram Industrial Estate in Odhav. Specifically, we are at Plot 13-14. To find us, you have to go behind the CMC Soni's Chawl at the cross road. It’s a bit tucked away, but once you find the estate, it's not too hard to spot our unit. We’ve been in this industrial area for quite a while. The neighborhood is mostly factories and warehouses, so there are always trucks loading and unloading nearby. We deal with surgical equipment and supplies. Our warehouse is usually full of boxes and the staff is busy checking orders. It’s a dusty part of town, being an industrial zone, but that’s just how it is here in Odhav. We have a small office section where we handle the paperwork. We started with just a couple of people and have grown a little bit since then, but we still keep things very basic. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that; usually, one of us just looks up from our desk when someone walks in. The roads around the cross road can get pretty jammed in the evenings, so we try to get our shipping done early. We like it here because it’s a practical place to run a business. Most of our neighbors are also making or selling things, so we all understand each other's work. It's a no-nonsense environment and we focus on getting our shipments out without delays.
