Next Gen Publishing Ltd. Ahmedabad is located at Chandan House, right on the 3rd floor. If you are standing at Mithakali 6 Roads, we are directly opposite the Pantaloons store. It’s a very busy part of Ahmedabad, so there is always a lot of honking and movement outside our windows. Our daily life involves a lot of reading, editing, and checking on printing schedules. The office is pretty packed with old copies of magazines and stacks of paper that we haven't quite gotten around to filing yet. We don't have a lot of corporate rules here. We just try to get the books and articles finished on time. The lift in Chandan House can be a bit slow, so we often see people catching their breath when they finally get to the 3rd floor. Our team is small, and everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to fixing a typo at the last minute. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now and we know the other tenants well. It’s a practical workspace, not a showroom. We have tea together in the afternoons and talk about what needs to be sent to the printer next. It can be stressful when a deadline is coming up, but we’ve learned how to handle it over the years. We just keep working away at our desks, surrounded by the stories we are trying to put out into the world.
