Our office is tucked away in Rose Wood Estate, right near Prernatirth Derasar in the Jodhpur Gam area of Satellite, Ahmedabad. Being part of Next Gen Publishing Ltd means we deal with a lot of paper, files, and deadlines. Even though we are connected to some big names like Forbes and HDFC, on the ground here in Ahmedabad, it just feels like a regular office. We spend a lot of time looking at layouts and checking text before things go to print. It’s a lot of back and forth, honestly. The Jodhpur Gam area is a nice part of the city to be in. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside, but inside we’re usually focused on the next issue or book. We aren't a massive team here, just a group of people who enjoy the process of making things. We have stacks of magazines everywhere, and sometimes it gets a bit cluttered, but that’s just how publishing goes. We drink a lot of chai and talk about what’s going on in the industry. It isn't always glamorous work, sometimes it’s just tedious proofreading for hours. But we like seeing the final product when it arrives from the printer. We’ve been at B-102 for a while now, and the neighbors are used to seeing us lugging boxes around. It’s a solid job, and we just try to do right by the stories we’re putting out. We aren't much for fancy corporate talk, we just like making good books.
