New Pragati Grinding Works

You can find us at 44 Swaminarayan Godwon, which is just outside the Dariapur Gate. New Pragati Grinding Works is a place where there’s always a bit of noise and a lot of movement. The godown area is practical, built for storage and heavy work rather than for looks. We spend our days at the machines, grinding down materials according to what’s needed by our customers. It’s loud, and there’s always a fine layer of dust on everything, but that’s the nature of the job. We don’t wear suits here; it’s work clothes and boots every day. The Dariapur area is quite active, and we are right in the middle of all that industry. We’ve got a couple of big machines that take up most of the floor space. The office is just a small corner partitioned off with some plywood where we keep the invoices and records. It’s not the quietest place to sit, but it gets the job done for us. We’ve been at this location for a while, and the people around here know us well. We don’t do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work comes from folks who know where we are and what we can do. It’s hard work and the hours can be long when we have a big batch to finish. But it’s a living, and we take pride in keeping the machines running smooth and getting things finished on time.
