New Esquire Hotel

New Esquire Hotel is tucked away near Electricity House in the Lal Darwaja area of Ahmedabad. It’s right opposite the Sidi Saiyed Jali, which is a very famous old spot, so we get plenty of people asking for directions. This part of the city is quite old and the streets can be narrow and full of people. Our hotel isn't one of those big glass buildings you see in the newer parts of town. It’s a more traditional place. We have rooms for travelers who need a place to stay that is central. We keep things basic and functional. The staff here mostly speak the local language and know the neighborhood well. It can get quite hot in Ahmedabad, so we do what we can to keep the rooms comfortable. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they are visiting the mosque across the street. We handle the laundry, the cleaning, and the check-ins ourselves. It’s a lot of manual work every day. Lal Darwaja is always buzzing with energy, and we are just a small part of that scene. We’ve been operating here at 380001 for a while now. It’s a simple hotel for people who want to be in the middle of the old city. We just provide a room and a bit of help with the local area.
