New Agrawal Hotel

New Agrawal Hotel is located right across from the Mahakali Mandir and the overbridge in Shahibaug. It is a very busy intersection at Girdharnagar Char Rasta. Being near the temple means we see a lot of people coming through for darshan or for business in this part of Ahmedabad. The hotel itself is a plain building. We have rooms for people who need a place to stay that is central and easy to get to. We aren't a luxury resort. It is just a city hotel. The rooms are simple with the basic things you need. My father started this and now we just keep it going. We have seen the overbridge get built and the traffic increase over the years. Inside, we try to keep it as quiet as possible, though you can still hear the city outside. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a gym. Most people who stay with us are just looking for a clean bed and a decent bathroom. We handle the check-ins and check-outs ourselves. It is a small team here. We know the neighborhood well, so if someone needs directions to the mandir or a place to eat nearby, we can tell them. It is just a regular business. We focus on being practical and staying open for whoever needs a room for the night. We don't make things complicated; we just provide a place to sleep.
