Neptune Orthopaedics

Neptune Orthopaedics is based out of the G.I.D.C. Estate in Odhav, specifically at No. 378. We are pretty close to Bhikshuk Gruha. This is an industrial area, so it’s all about getting work done. We make and sell orthopedic supplies—things like implants or tools that surgeons use. It’s dusty and loud in the estate sometimes, but it’s where the action is. Our building is a standard industrial unit. We have a section for the inventory and a small area for the administrative side of things. We’ve been in Odhav for quite a while now and we know the shortcuts through the traffic. The work we do is very precise. If a screw or a plate isn't exactly right, it can't be used. We spend a lot of time checking and re-checking our stock. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in suits. We wear what’s comfortable for moving boxes and working with metal. We get orders from all over, but we still feel like a local shop. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the roads around here a bit of a mess, but we still manage to get the deliveries out. We aren't big on corporate meetings or long speeches. We just look at the order sheet and get to work. It’s a simple life and it keeps us busy. We like to think we know our business well.
